RAM Forever Stepping Stones Endowed Scholarship
Identifying career pathways prior to graduation has the potential to expedite a student's matriculation into higher education. John H. Gamble, a Ralston High School graduate and his wife, Yvonne established a stepping stones endowed scholarship based on opportunities Dr. Gamble experienced during his graduate school studies. This scholarship is available to students enrolled in dual credit college and university courses, and students enrolled in the Advanced Placement (AP) program. In partnership with the Foundation, funds are provided each semester to cover costs for dual credit courses and AP exam fees. Scholarship amounts may vary based on the number of students who apply and the program's cost. Having completed those programs on the student's transcript shows colleges and universities they are motivated to succeed by undertaking and completing college-level work.

Description of Scholarship: This scholarship is an opportunity for Ralston High School students to explore academic interests and future career choices during their junior and senior years. Earning college credit by completing dual credit courses and passing an AP exam can give the student flexibility on degree choices and accelerate their undergraduate graduation timeline. The program of study may include any content area; however, programs involving a touring component will not be considered. Applications are made available at the start of each fall and spring semester. In 2025, $3,000 will be available to fund multiple scholarships.
