As noted by Dr. Vikki J. Deuel, "To be around John Gamble when he's passionate about accomplishing a goal that will make a difference in countless young lives is to hitch yourself to a Nebraska whirlwind. You either get on board or you get lost in the dust that he leaves behind."
Alan D. Rowe, Ralston High School class of 1964, adds, "John embraces the power of education as a means to open the infinite growth potential residing in every student, family, school employee, and community member. He recognizes the power of legacy, why it matters, and the common good of 'giving back' to the community really matters."
Mike Chamberlin, Ralston High School Class of 1968, wrote, "The various steps and activities needed to establish a scholarship fund are not a small thing, but show that individuals can take a series of relatively small steps that together can make a difference in people's lives, that can aid our communities and support our schools. Actions like this can take many different forms and should be encouraged. John's work here will go a long way toward showing people that they can make a difference."
Please join us in celebrating John Gamble, a true champion of education and community, as one of our 2024 Ralston High School Distinguished Alumni Award Recipients.
