Alumni:: History
The Ralston High School Alumni Association started with a small group of individuals in 1988. The organization was formed as a way for RHS alums to get together and socialize. This is done through the All-Class Reunion (usually around July 4 each year) and the All-Class Golf Outing and RHS Alumni Baseball Game each year. This organization serves as a contact point for class reunions. Also, the RHS Alumni Association has provided college scholarships to RHS graduates for their continuing education and recognizes several RHS Alumni at the Ralston Homecoming football game each year.
The Ralston Schools Foundation (RSF) has as its mission the support of public education by providing financial and other resources to enhance educational opportunity in the Ralston School District. We think it is essential to the future of our community and our country to provide the best education possible to our students. Each year we fund scholarships, programs and special needs for students, teachers and staff within the District.
RSF also recently took under its umbrella the Ralston Alumni Association. We have just completed a new alumni directory for all classes. You can help by providing information about current addresses, phone numbers and e-mail addresses for Ralston graduates. That allows us to keep in touch about reunions and other special alumni events. If you would like to volunteer to help the Foundation in this effort please contact Katy Core, Foundation Director at the District Office at (402) 898-3448. Or e-mail at kcore@ralstonschools.org.
Donations to the RSF are tax-deductible and always appreciated. To join the Alumni Association, click on the button below!
